Sumnima Ghimire is a 22-year old BSc. (First Class Hons) Environmental Science graduate from Naaya Aayam Multi-Disciplinary Institute (NAMI), affiliated with the University of Northampton. She also completed her green fellowship program with the Himalayan Climate Initiative, Nepal, where she designed and implemented a sustainable project idea for her locality.
Currently working as a research associate with Youth For Environment Education and Development (YFEED) Foundation, Nepal, Sumnima moderates national and international webinars and assists research-related activities and proposal writing. For two years now, she has been actively facilitating an Environmental Education school program for NGO Wildlife Conservation Nepal.
A recent panelist speaker on the webinar, “Understanding the Impact of Climate Change, Disasters, and Crisis on Food Security,” organized by Y4CAP, Fiji Islands, Sumnima has also participated in the Future Literacy Lab Simulation training organized by UNESCO, Jakarta and served as a volunteer for the online United Nations Volunteer for the project: Research Support for an Automated Analysis of Sustainable Development Goals for a month.
