SUMMIT 2024 COUNTDOWN
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI) has been educating and inspiring our community on ocean-focused environmentalism and marine history since 1997. Our vision is simple: to ensure our ocean is “understood, appreciated and protected” through hands-on experiences, education, and exploration.
BUEI is also the National Operator of the Eco-Schools Bermuda programme, a global programme recognized by the United Nations that is dedicated to sustainable development education, and the Young Reporters for the Environment. Visit www.buei.bm for further information on our education programmes.
The Youth Climate Summit (YCS) is a weeklong, annual event that brings together local and global experts, leaders, and activists in the fields of Environmental Conservation, Sustainability, and Climate Justice to inform and empower young people. The Summit is open to students aged 13-22 (and educators) and gives them the opportunity to launch their own NGO-partnered initiatives. A recap of YCS 2022 can be found HERE
