Kyle loves empowering young leaders and advancing sustainability. He is the former Executive Director and Board Chair of SustainUS: U.S. Youth for Justice & Sustainability. Kyle co-founded the youth coalition at the United Nations climate change negotiations, where his efforts are featured in the award-winning documentary Youth Unstoppable. His work has included positions in the United States government and military, including the White House; scientific societies; universities; think tanks; advocacy organizations and private sector sustainability consulting. His writings and interviews can be found in book chapters, podcasts, scientific papers, magazines, newspapers, TV and radio. He holds B.S. degrees in Ecological Economics and Biochemistry/Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he earned the university’s only Truman Scholarship; and a Master of Science in Geophysical Sciences and Public Policy from The University of Chicago. Kyle has served on 9 boards of directors, boards of trustees, and boards of advisors.
