Harang Seo is Co-Director of Resource12 CIC, a not-for-profit organisation that advocates for circularity and material reuse within the built environment. He graduated from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, in 2024. His work explores how waste materials can be transformed into valuable resources through material-led, experimental design processes and collaborative, systems-based approaches to reuse. He is interested in the creative potential of designing with waste and in embedding circular practices within wider social, environmental and educational systems. Most recently, he has contributed to the co-design and delivery of University of London’s Scarlett Westbrook Living Laboratory Garden. The project aimed to demonstrate how structural habitats for invertebrate species can be designed as ecologically valuable infrastructure, whilst involving students supported by ecologists and wildlife experts through the participation and creation of the public realm. He is co-author of FoundersKeepers: Material Circularity within Educational Frameworks (AMPS, 2024).
