Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI)
Hannah Lampit holds an undergraduate degree in Marine Biology and a Masters in International Marine Environmental Consultancy. For her International Baccalaureate final project, she worked with the Bermuda Department of Natural and Environmental Resources to investigate the lionfish invasion. More recently, Hannah took on a large volunteer role assisting the Bermuda Ocean Prosperity Programme team with collecting data to create the new Marine Spatial Plan (MSP) for Bermuda. Following student internships at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS) and Dolphin Quest Bermuda, she joined BUEI as an Ocean Discovery Centre tour guide before taking on her current position as BUEI’s Eco-Schools Coordinator. Eco-Schools is a global programme that encourages students to make sustainable changes in their schools and inspire the wider community. In this role, Hannah works closely with hundreds of local school students, providing resources and advice to help make their projects a success.
