Environmental Technician

Hannah Lampit holds an undergraduate degree in Marine Biology and a Masters in International Marine Environmental Consultancy. In 2022 she joined BELCO’s Occupational Health, Safety and Environment team as their new Environmental Technician. In this position Hannah supports the company’s ISO 14001 certified Environmental Management System through programs such as opacity monitoring, air quality monitoring and soil remediation.
 
Hannah has worked with the Bermuda Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DENR), the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS), and Dolphin Quest Bermuda in the past. Most recently Hannah spent two years as Eco-Schools Coordinator at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI) building and leading the island’s Eco-Schools Program. She cannot wait to be back in a space with these organizations and to be working with local students again.
