Grace Kejo is an International, Social and public policy student at the London School of Economics, working to promote that education for sustainable development as a climate change solution. After witnessing the real-life effects of extreme weather on her community in Tanzania, she set out to inform more people about climate change and sustainable development by starting a series of workshops in Swahili that made climate and sustainability information more accessible.

This initiative is called weAreChange, and she has continued it since starting when she was in high school, spreading across multiple schools and even internationally to Brazil. Currently Grace is researching sustainability education policies as an intern at the LSE’s Eden centre, and working on a social media series about global citizenship education in East Africa
