Sustainability Analyst, Sancroft
Erika Furbert joined sustainability consultancy Sancroft after completing an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Here her research focused on using economic tools to value the disproportionate impacts of climate change across developed and developing countries. Prior to this Erika completed a BSc in Environment and Development at the LSE, a degree that explored the interactions between business, policy and science in moving towards a sustainable future.
Erika has also worked as a researcher at the Economics of the Environment Consultancy (eftec). At eftec her work focused on Natural Capital Accounting and ecosystem service valuation. Here she was responsible for producing outputs and managing the development of the natural capital account for one of the Overseas Territories as part of a Darwin+ funded project as well as supporting on the development of the Indian Government’s Environmental Valuation Look-up tool.
At Sancroft, Erika is particularly interested in both sustainable fashion and the circular economy, as well as responsible investment and the integration of ESG factors in investment decisions. She has worked on projects with various clients including Primark, Everton Football Club and L’Oréal.
