This year, Youth Climate Summit (YCS) students will focus on a new set of climate change issues and actions under the guidance of YCS Director, Dr. Rosemarie McMahon. On Tuesday, March 21, students presented their project ideas to YCS Corporate and NGO Partners in BUEI’s Tradewinds Auditorium.
Climate Justice Board Member, Olly Cherry, presented his track’s pitch on the topic of Fair Energy and their plan to work with the Bermuda Government to promote energy efficiency.
Conservation Board Members Zoë Mir and Michaiah Bremar delivered an excellent pitch on the importance of reef systems and their goals to raise awareness about its environmental value.
Sustainability Board Members, Terrai Trott and Isaiah Fraser, enthusiastically presented their track’s project on Sustaining Beach Clean-ups and encouraging youth to get involved.
