Attendees of the 2022 Bermuda Youth Climate Summit will discover a pristine gem in the mid-Atlantic — just 21 square miles (56km) but packed with natural wonders and diverse eco-landscapes. In a single day, you’ll traverse from iconic pink-sand beaches to lush rainforests, from blue waters teeming with marine life to craggy, windswept cliffs. Youth Climate Summit Tours

Bermuda is a precious resource, and the island has long been at the forefront of sustainable practices, ensuring that the island can thrive in the years to come. We have curated a few special tours for you to learn about a few of our environmental initiatives firsthand!  Here’s a sample of tours on offer:

 

Burt Island Experience 
Home to many conservation and research initiatives including the Seagrass Restoration Project, Burt Island is a wonderful option for those who wish to have a hands-on experience while learning about different conservation methods used in Bermuda. A swimsuit and a towel are required. 
The price is $220 per person.

 

Nonsuch Island Snorkel Experience 
Centered around an untouchable “Living Museum” filled with endemic flora and fauna, the Nonsuch Island Snorkel Experience is perfect for those who wish to explore the amazing reef marine habitats surrounding this protected site. A swimsuit and a towel are required. 

 

The price is $280 per person.

 

St. George’s & The East End 
Between a magical old-world walking tour through a UNESCO Heritage Site filled with historical buildings frozen in time, and a trip to a wondrous undersea cavern known as the Crystal Caves, this tour is a great opportunity to learn about Bermuda’s culture, history, and 400+ year heritage.
The price is $135 per person.

 

Tours are offered on Friday, November 26th, and Saturday, November 27th, 2021, and are scheduled to start after onsite Summit sessions end for the day. All tours include private round trip transportation, special access to protected locations, all necessary equipment, an expert travel guide, and bottled water.
