Angela A’Zary is an SVP Client Risk Analytics within RenaissanceRe. Angela has been analyzing the financial impacts from hurricanes, wildfires, floods and other natural catastrophes for 30 years. Angela is actively engaged in RenaissanceRe’s efforts to create public private sector partnerships, in addition to working with the government to support change. These initiatives decrease the financial impact to individuals and communities from natural catastrophes through endeavors that include climate resilience, reducing the protection gap and increasing insurance availability. Prior to this role, Angela was responsible for the global property natural catastrophe risk modeling team at RenaissanceRe. Angela’s 30 years of insurance and reinsurance experience includes catastrophe modeling, (re)insurance pricing, reserving, reinsurance broking, capital market securitization and personal lines underwriting.
