Jessica Mello, Blue Bridges

Jessica Mello is tourism executive and economist with over 25 years of international experience spanning strategy, policy, and development. She currently advises governments and organizations on tourism and the blue economy through her firm, Blue Bridges. Previously, she served as Head of Tourism for the Red Sea Zone Authority in Saudi Arabia, opening Saudi’s coastline and waters to international tourism and yachting. Earlier, she held senior roles with the Bermuda Tourism Authority, Deloitte Consulting, and AECOM Economics. She serves on several boards including the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda and the Bermuda Maritime Academy. Jessica holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College. 

Korrin Lightbourne, Bermuda Development Agency

In his role as Business Development Manager, Korrin Lightbourne develops and implements innovative and proactive strategies to attract businesses to physically locate to Bermuda and encourages greater investment in Bermuda companies and products. He works with a variety of stakeholders to understand their personal and professional goals and leverages Bermuda’s unique value proposition to present Bermuda as an ideal place to live and do business.  

Previously, Korrin acted as the coordinator for the technology sector at the BDA and served as the first point of contact for fintech companies considering working in Bermuda. Prior to joining the BDA, he worked at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce as a marketing and community outreach coordinator, where he worked closely with the membership across a range of activities including events, newsletters, press releases, and surveys. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management. He has completed fintech and blockchain technology courses at the Said Business School at the University of Oxford. 

In addition to his coral restoration work, Jonathan manages the White River Fish Sanctuary, where he oversees conservation strategies, community engagement, and marine habitat protection. His combined efforts in reef restoration and sanctuary management contribute to safeguarding Jamaica’s marine biodiversity and promoting sustainable coastal ecosystems.” 

Laura Heintzman, KPMG

Laura Heintzman is a corporate sustainability strategist with expertise in ESG integration, impact measurement, reporting, and communications. As ESG Manager at KPMG Bermuda, she supports sustainability initiatives across the KPMG Islands Group. Her experience spans international corporations, intergovernmental organizations like the UN Environment Programme, and investor-focused reporting bodies. Previously, she led sustainability teams at a global apparel company, Aritzia, advancing ESG efforts across complex value chains. Laura holds an HBSc in Environmental Science and an MSc in Environmental Technology.
