YCS Alumni, Virtual Session Co-Host

Leeya Jeremy, an S4 dual enrollment student at Cedarbridge Academy and the Bermuda College, is a 4th year alumnus of BUEI’s Youth Climate Summit, and lives by the mantra “for such a time as this”. She is an avid member of the Climate Justice division and is focused on spreading awareness to her peers and working on solutions in collaboration with various environmentally focused corporations. During her years as a student in the BUEI program she has amassed the titles of Climate Ambassador, member of the Bermuda National Youth Policy Working Group, and the [youngest] host of the annual Youth Climate Summit. For such a time as this, Leeya is stepping forward with courage and purpose and is passionate about climate activism, the safety of our environment, and everyone who lives within it.
